Then called the National Ski Association, founded in 1905 in Ishpeming Michigan, the U.S. Alpine Ski Team has been at the forefront of competitive skiing for more than 100 years.
A storied body that has carved a path of passionate support for American skiers since individual athletes participated in the 1924 Winter Olympics and then formally raced at the 1935 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, the U.S. Alpine Ski Team is responsible for both the initial spark and eternal flame of enthusiasm associated with recreational, amateur, and professional skiing the world over.
